oh, for the Love of...: You are my Sunshine.

Because I was home at my Mom's for what felt like an extra two weeks (it was only 3 days) because of not feeling too well, today I felt the need to go out and do... anything. I decided to make an appointment at the Apple store since Emma put the power adapter for my laptop in her mouth yesterday and broke it with her saliva - that's what happens when I get my brother to watch her for a little while. Thankfully, they just replaced it with a new one. Gotta love Apple Care! Now if only she could break my laptop in a way where it's still fully replaceable... heheh, half kidding. So we headed to Sherway, dropped by the Ritz and sadly, there aren't many girls left from when I went on mat leave about nine months ago. Boo. That's okay though... I'm somewhat looking forward to going back to work, kinda not. And at the same time I want to look for a full-time job at the bank again until I go back to school in September. We'll see what happens when the time comes. I think what I'm most excited about is being able to earn money to put aside for a house of our own - that just means a few steps closer to our future plans.

Anyway (I can easily be side-tracked when it comes to talking about saving! lol) I was also able to do a little bit of thrift shopping with Emma and my broski. Got a couple good finds and I think I'll be satisfied with them for a while. I haven't been going as often as I used to, which is probably something I'll keep up [insert 'saving' remark here].

Lastly, I finally uploaded the photos I took of Emma when she turned nine months old (January 18th) so I'll post a few of them up and the rest will be on flickr. I love shooting photos of her when she first gets up in the morning and in our bedroom specifically, when and where we get the best sunlight. Just resized, no edits - Enjoy! :)
