Easter!

Just thought I'd do a quick post since I've been MIA!
Everything's been great. Had a lovely Easter weekend w/ friends and family, of course! Just been running around doing fun stuff with my loves and enjoying the beautiful weather :)

Just seeing/feeling this weather reminds me of how good God is! This year, I kinda had a moment where I realized and thought to myself, "Oh yeah, this is what Easter is all about." I know life has been busy, but there really are no excuses. I am so thankful for my Saviour dying on the Cross for my sins. My faith is on solid ground because I know my Redeemer lives. I hope and pray this is something I will keep in mind each & every day.

Here's a photo of Emma on her first Easter Sunday after our church service, being fed two cupcakes at once. She was confused - wasn't sure which one she should bite next! lol. She's turning ONE in two weeks!!! Still can't process that idea yet.... gahhh.

Update!

I feel like I haven't been on here in the longest time! and that my friends, is true.

I miss blogging. I miss taking photos and writing - whether it be on here or in my real journal. I haven't taken my camera out in so long, my iPhone camera's been getting all the action. Boo. I've been so busy! Especially with Emma's 1st birthday coming up and just with life in general. But busy is good and as tiring as it can be sometimes, I love every minute of it. No matter how tired I am, just being able to lay down at the end of the day and with my two loves is one of the sweetest feelings.

I've been going to the gym a little more often. It's hard trying to get things done around the house during the day and with such a sore body... but as Emmanuel says, "No pain, no loss!" Hahha. And I need that 'beach bod' ready by June when we go to California! LOL whatever. But I'm so excited about this trip because:
1) I found us some pretty cheap tickets -the advantages of buying way early!
2) We get to meet more of Emmanuel's family + visit some of mine as well and
3) sweet, sweeeeeeet Carlifornia SUN!

Emma just woke up from her nap so we're going for a walk!
I can't believe she's turning ONE next month!!!!! =***]

this is her at the park, 11 months old...

Photos on the Wall

Just thought I'd post a couple shots of the wall above our bed where we put up framed photos of our little family. Not sure whether I want to add some more or just leave it at that. The center frame is a gift Emmanuel got from one of his students, and it says "LOVE" with the bible verse underneath. I love the two frames at the top left and bottom right corners, mainly because they have that cute design and they're both of Emmanuel and I - when we first met and on our wedding day. Haha :)

ps; I know some are a bit crooked, but I kinda like it that way ;)

short but pretty sweet.

It's a little past 8am and sometimes I wonder why I hardly ever try to get up at this time of the morning, since everytime I do, I sit back and realize how nice it feels.

Wait, let's rewind a little... yesterday was one pretty blessed day for my family :) Firstly, Emma turned 10 months old. Gosh, I love her to pieces. Although she was a premature baby and is little in size, she is definitely making up for it in her strong personality and physical abilities. This girl is bouncing all over the place, crawling after everyone, always peeping her head through door frames (my fave!) and trying so hard to stand on her own that you can see a victory smile when she gets a few seconds on her own two feet. I always say this, but I can't believe how quickly time flies! I love & cherish every minute of it. (I'll try to post some photos that I took of her yesterday on my next post)
Secondly, after a couple months of looking for a new job, Emmanuel received a phone call yesterday about a position at a logistics company which is not too, too far from where we live. Although he loves his job & working with the kids at PLASP & the kids love their "Mr. E", he knows that this is better for himself and his family. I admire the hard work and determination he put into getting what he wanted in regards to a job - I hope I can do the same once I get back into the workforce! And of course, I love him to pieces as well ♥
We have definitely been blessed as a family and it is evident that the Lord truly answers our prayers when we depend on him for all circumstances in life. God is so good :)

Anyway, I'm up at this time because I have a hot (yoga) date, which I have to get ready for soon. Hahah, okay it's with my cousin so the only hot part about it is the room temperature LOL. I'm hoping this all-bran cereal doesn't kick in while doing downward dog or whatever. Hahha, gross.

Okay, thanks for reading & hope you all have a lovely weekend :)
